Shanghai
Shanghai is the largest port in the world and one of the largest urban areas with a popular of more than 20 million. It is the largest city in China and is considered the business and financial capital of the country and is a hub for commerce between the east and west.
The name Shanghai means above the sea in Chinese and the city was first established in the seventh century. The city developed rapidly in the 1930's . There was some slowdown in growth after the communists took over China. After the economic reforms in the 1990's , the city has seen rapid growth and is considered a model for urban development worldwide
